Yes, Rae, the book went "live" on Amazon on July 5. I had to publish it sooner than July 18 to get copies for my book launch gathering in time. I am so sorry to hear about your wrecked life. I totally believe you and know it isn't all something you just get over even if there were support. Just look up the name, "The 5 Levels of Gifted Children Grown Up" on Amazon. Since finishing the writing of the book I finally found an answer to what resilience is, too, and I will write about it in the next few weeks. Basically, if one child somehow gets the positive attention in such a family ... becomes somewhat of a "golden child," they don't get the same degree of feeling worthless. It is the sense some people are given that they deserve the bad treatment when there hasn't been any consistent positive attention. You'll see clues to that in the book, tool. I'll write more and recommend that research is somehow done on this topic. Right now there isn't much out there that appears to have a good answer. We need a societal safety net so badly!
