A podcast interview with Deborah Ruf, PhD, on her work and Dabrowski's Theory of Positive Disintegration

This past December 2023, I was interviewed by Chris Wells, PhD, and Emma Nicholson, for a podcast that is probably the most authentic interview I’ve ever done. It’s not that I’m not always authentic; it’s that I’m not usually so comfortable as during this podcast interview.

The photo here is one I took in 1993 at Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, of one of the first Dabrowski conferences of this nature. It was an enjoyable event and I was fortunate to be able to attend. Click on this link to find the podcast and transcript.

“In episode 50, Chris and Emma talked with Dr. Deborah Ruf, author of the award-winning book 5 Levels of Gifted. In 2023, she released a follow-up book called The 5 Levels of Gifted Children Grown Up: What They Tell Us. Our conversation highlights her expertise in studying giftedness and personality across the lifespan.
