Elections Have Consequences … Even For Profoundly Gifted Children
Know what you’re voting for when it comes to gifted education
My New Approach to Sharing Information About Educational Systems and Outcomes
Going forward, I will share my research, my viewpoints, my previous writing and speaking topics, and I will juxtapose the information — as much as possible — with the history and laws of different educational policies and systems. I will also demonstrate how to communicate with people who disagree with you. Sometimes these people are your children or parents, other relatives, school personnel, neighbors, etc. We’ve all been put to the test lately, haven’t we?
I want my readers to know what they might want to consider the next time they deal with educational systems, school board elections, county, state, and federal laws around gifted children, etc., both in the here and now and in future elections.
This morning I spoke with a good friend and she said something to this effect, “Your audience is all gifted people! They understand.” It’s true they understand. They understand what they personally want and think as well is what their roles as parts of a family, school system, and community seem to demand.
